I enjoyed your post. I was googling something totally different and landed on your page.

Being a generation X'er, I share a lot of your thoughts on the barrier's we encounter and the confused social pressures that are imposed on us. We also, more than any other generation, seem to understand the rate and the uselessness of the information we are continually being bombarded with. We know where true value lives but struggle to sometimes find it. Generation Y's and\or baby boomers may be good at chasing the next question, but for us we are more concerned is with are whether we are asking the right questions.

Business and technology is just a tool like a bread knife or an hammer. We just want to get on to what really counts, i.e. follow our own creativity and values but without the continual hindrance and\or copycatting.

Great post, and thanks for mentioning our WordPress theme. The entire social media newsroom and release topic fascinates me, and one that I hope to add some substance to.

Thanks again.

I agree that this stark boundaries are not accurate. Many of us boomers disliked corporation life. There is a great post today about Gen X vs. Gen Y and boomers at http://www.Vaboomer.com
